Renault Puts Captur Into Production,Guns Evoque!



Renault:
Renault’s bold Captur concept which was unveiled at the recent Geneva motor show, will be developed into two separate models, say company insiders.

Renault:
The mainstream version will be a small five-door similar in size to the Nissan Juke while The other will be a three-door version,which clearly hints at a Evoque rival; think of the three-door Range Rover Evoque, but on a smaller scale.

Turbo-Charged Protons By Late 2011


Proton plans to introduce a turbo-charged version of its 1.6-litre Campro engine for the Exora MPV in the third quarter of this year.

Proton Ceo Syed Zainal was quoted saying , “This turbo-charged engine will also be in future Proton models,”  adding that the company was also finalising a project team for its small car collaboration with Nissan which our sources say will be based on the Proton EMAS concept which was showcased at the Geneva Motor show in 2010.
He also said the Proton Exora hybrid was in the final stages of testing and validation in Britain.“There is another two weeks to go. After that, we will deliver the cars to the Malaysian government and selected customers for fleet testing. If everything goes well, the Exora hybrid will be sold to the public next year.”

New Enzo Coming Soon.

Ferrari has started to work on replacing its flagship super car,The Enzo.Details on the project are still scarce at the moment but its safe to say that the engineers in Maranello are working on something very powerful and extremely fast.


Autocar UK quoted an unnamed sources from Ferrari who say the Bugatti Veyron has helped shape what the next Enzo will be.Ferrari is reportedly looking to unleash the Enzo successor in the next year or two, and we're not likely to know much until that time. But at the same time, it's never too early to start dreaming of the next super Ferrari.

MG's Awe Inspiring Concept 5!

MG Motors has used the hometown of its parent company  to reveal the next phase in its ambitious plan to return to "the good old day".


The Concept 5 was unveiled in Shanghai, hints at a forthcoming five-door hatchback in the Ford Focus/Suzuki Swift segment ,a model which would signal the manufacturer's entry into one of the biggest  segments in the industry.

Fernandes Buys Caterham!

Caterham is being sold to Malaysian entrepreneur Tony Fernandes.

The Kent-based sports car company - which was owned by private equity firm Corven Ventures ,is said to have struck a deal with the Malaysian that will bring fresh investment and ambitious product plans.
The deal is set to make Caterham the second British company to go under Malaysian Ownership After Lotus,who are owned by Malaysian Automaker Proton.Fernandes is currently embroiled in a court battle with Lotus Cars over the use of the name in Formula One. Buying Caterham could give him a potential alternative brand to market.

Dutch "Super Bus"

Meet the "Superbus", a bizarre EV with six-wheels, 16 gullwing doors and enough room for 23 passengers.
Brainchild of Wubbo Ockels,who is Holland's first astronaut, it's designed to create a sustainable form of transport that's as fast as a train but with the flexibility of a bus.
The bus has an electric motor which is powered by a lithium polymer battery pack and a top speed of 155mph.
