Porsche has announced that it has begun taking orders for the company's revolutionary 918 Spyder.

The automaker says that it's planning to build 918 examples of the vehicle and that each of them will carry a lofty price tag of 2.6 million Malaysian ringgits ($845,000) plus destination and handling.The plug-in hybrid will boast a 500-horsepower, 4.0-liter V8 engine and two electric motors capable of a combined 218 horsepower. |
