| It was unveiled at the recent Delhi Auto.the "Heart" will be a Ford-sourced, 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 261 bhp(found in the Mondeo).The Avanti weighs 1560 kg, and features extensive use of aluminium. |

| Its makers, who are based in Pune, claim the base model will hit 62 mph in less than seven seconds. The car will be released somewhere around 2013. DC wants to build 200 cars a year at first, but plans to churn out up to 2000 cars a year in the long run. |

| To be perfectly honest,I'm not 100 percent behind the design,as i feel the front end resembles the VW Scirocco a tad too much,a disappointment in the originality department and the rear,for some strange reason,looks like it was inspired by a cockroach. |
