Porsche takes aim at Ferrari!

Yes...Finally!Porsche has decided it has had enough of the "frog inspired" Porsches of the 20th and early 21st century!the all new Porsche 928 looks way more upmarket and modern than past models.Designed to challenge the Ferrari 599(which for some reason looks almost the same)the 928 is actually a short wheel based version of the Panamera. Will it go down well with Porsche enthusiast?Judging by initial responses...Not quite.

The 928.

Bugatti gets ready to bid farewell to VEYRON!

The GALIBIER.
Thats right, believe your eyes.Bugatti said it will stop the production of its Veyron model very soon to make way for a more practical 4-door super car(to go head to head with the Aston Martin Rapide,Porsche Panamera and etc.).How do i feel about this?quite sad actually..the Veyron has always been a symbol human intelligence in the field of engineering...(being the fastest car and all)...but i am sure the replacement, the Galibier is anything but awful...then again..only time...(and jeremy clarkson)...can tell.

Uninspiring Replacements.

The old one
"new"

When a car,any car,is replaced by a car-maker,they would surely want the new one to do better(in terms of sales)look better, and basically be better than its predecessor. But what if the predecessor was so popular, what if everyone liked the look of the car so much, until it could still sell 10 year down the road?Well apparently Nissan and Suzuki have come up with the answer via replacements for their popular X-Trail and Swift models. They look almost IDENTICAL to their predecessors!!!!In a industry where each and every replacement looks more and more bold and awe inspiring, these two have done a unforgivable act!sure they are more well equipped than the old one, sure the dimensions are different but that still does not justify their actions..!come on Nissan and Suzuki!!!what happened to you!!

Boxy X-Trail Driven!

Boxy...that is the only word that comes to my mind when i look at Nissan's X-Trail.don't get me wrong, boxy can be cool sometimes,i for one quite like the styling of the X-Trail.Ok looks aside, how did it handle?Pretty well!it was surprisingly comfortable.sound proofing was slightly above average.I drove the 2.0 version,so the acceleration was slightly sluggish but if you know to work your way through the gears, its not a problem at all.the built quality was OK,not the best i've seen.overall,i have enjoyed the drive in the X-Trail,sure its not the best thing out there, but it was truly fun to drive.

Its all systems go for the Estoque!

Yes...its true! The Estoque is heading for production!Lambo CEO Stephan Winkelman was quoted saying:

“a third model would fit Lamborghini very well, and a four-door car would be a very feasible approach”

The 2008 Estoque concept
The Estoque was unveiled at the 2008 Paris motor show.Porsche and Aston Martin have both launched their very own 4-door saloons. Finally Lamborghini has decided to join the club.

Flaming Ferrari!

Before
After
Do you own a Ferrari 458 Italia? If your answer is yes, then pay close attention to this.Ferrari is recalling ALL 458 ever made. The reason?well, this is what Ferrari had to say:

"Adhesive used in the wheelarch assembly has been found to be liable to melt at high temperatures, deforming the wheelarch which can then fall against the exhaust. If the car is being driven hard in places with a high ambient temperature, there is also a risk that the adhesive can catch fire."

now thats a HOT Ferrari!

New Direction For Mazda.

Mazda is set to bid good-bye to its popular "Nagare" design language to make way for the bold new "Kodo" design.Based on the Shinari concept, which was unveiled at a design event in Milan.Kodo means "soul in motion" in Japanese. The Shinari concept would most likely be the base for  the all new Mazda-6.My take on the Kodo design language,Bold,Fresh and Exciting!
