An Image of Proton's all new Persona replacement's headlamp(codenamed PERSONA R) has made its way to the internet!The Persona R,which is said to be heavily influenced by the Proton Tuah concept,is scheduled to be launched early 2012.

Mazda's Baby SUV takes shape!

Mazda is set to reveal a new concept at the 81st Geneva motor show in March. Called the Minagi, the concept previews a new entry-level compact crossover, which will likely be called the CX-5 when it makes its production debut in Frankfurt later this year.


































The compact SUV is alleged to 'fully embrace' both Mazda’s Skyactiv technologies as well as the Kodo design language that debuted on the Shinari concept late last year

Here it is ladies and gents,its the "all new" Honda Civic.It made its world debut at the 2011 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit on January 10, 2011. It has got to be one of the most disappointing replacements in recent history.
some might argue that the car does look good,well i agree!it truly does,but it looks more like a major facelift than a all new model,just my 2 cents.

Aston's "IQ"


Aston Martin Cygnet:

Aston Martin will launch its IQ clone the Cygnet city car with a pair of special editions, called White and Black.
The new model - a rebadged,reworked version of Toyota’s iQ - will be offered with matt stripes and chrome brightwork on the white version, and matt black louvres on the black car .
Aston has confirmed the White and Black editions will cost from £30,995, an increase of more than £20,000 .Madness!!

Audi A9 coming soon?

Audi is on an ambitious quest for a technologically advanced, luxuriously equipped coupé-like saloon called the A9.

It's rumored to be Audi’s take on the Mercedes-Benz CL and Porsche Panamera, as well as a forthcoming production version of the BMW GranCoupĂ© concept, due in early 2012.
The new four-door forms the centrepiece of a new model program that aims to provide Audi with a some what sportier version of Audi's current flagship,the A8.

New Lotus Exige as Well?

Lotus CEO Dany Bahar hinted that there could be a new Exige concept at the Geneva Auto-show in March.As we all know,Lotus is on an ambitious quest in revamping its image worldwide.The Proton owned auto-maker recently revealed images and also exhibited new versions of the Esprit,Elise and Elan concepts in the Paris Auto-show and as well as the Malaysian Auto-show.If the new Exige is anything like the other concepts in terms of design,then it looks like we have another winner!

Passat vs Fuga?

If our Sources are to be trusted,It looks like VW and Proton will be locking horns to obtain the Malaysian Government contract to replace its fleet of cars(which is currently the aged and should be "fossilized" Proton Perdana).VW has reportedly submitted a bid via its local Malaysian partner DRB to provide the Malaysian government with the latest installment of the VW Passat and Local car-maker Proton on the other hand through a MOU with Nissan,have offered a badge engineered version of the Nissan Fuga.Who will the Malaysian Government choose??stay tuned to find out!

Michael Stoschek's Lancia Stratos

If you can't buy your dream car, get it made. That was clearly the strategy of rich German car parts magnate Michael Stoschek, a fan of Lancia's legendary 1972 Stratos who fancied an updated version. 



The project to modernise one of the Italian manufacturer's most iconic models was actually begun by designer Chris Hrabalek, like Stoschek a collector of the original cars, who created a prototype known as the Fenomenon Stratos five years ago. Inspired by this project, Stoschek commissioned Italian car design specialists Pininfarina to develop the car that you see here, which had been officially unveiled at the end of November in the south of France recently.

Tata Funds Alternative Fuel Research.

India's top industrialist Ratan Tata has funded a research project in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to use hydrogen from water as an alternative fuel to drive cars.




Tata has given $15 million to fund the research being conducted by MIT professor Daniel Nocera on using water as auto fuel.it is Tata's dream to run his cars on water ultimately, he is said to be funding the project so that he will have control on the innovative technology. The project involves generating hydrogen by splitting water and storing it in a safe can to drive an automobile

The Maybach Cruiserio unveiled!

There is a new Maybach in town!Dubbed the "Cruiserio", and it has just made its debut at Daimler headquarters in Stuttgart. The project is now being underwritten by a €70 million investment from AutoKingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over the course of three years,AutoKingdom ambitiously anticipate building 100 examples, and say they've already got enough orders to keep them busy for the next year or so. Can't wait that long? The first example is up for sale out of Riyadh, with a price tag of just under a cool million.
