The Malaysian Super Car That Vanished.

It was a car that could have propelled Malaysia into the Elite Club of Super-Car makers,a car that could have broken many boundaries,re-write history and pave the way for others to follow suit.Unfortunately the dream of a Malaysian super-car remains as distant as ever.
The Esna Venere
It was named the Esna Venere concept.Made by EsnaSports Malaysia and was to be powered by a technologically advanced six-cylinder 3.0 supercharged engine with a projected top speed of 300km/h.
It's truly sad that this project followed the owner of EsnaSports to the grave,i personally felt it had alot of potential.

But maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel after all.The 2010 Kuala Lumpur Motor Show saw the birth of a Supercar concept from Malaysian carmaker Proton.Dubbed as the Proton Lekir concept,it could fill the void left by the Venere. We'll have to wait for time to tell if this is real or just another auto show "treat".
